Aircraft Control Column
Flight controls require extreme verification before they are used in flight. FUTEK's MBA500 biaxial torque and thrust sensor provides quality assurance engineers with the proper tools to monitor the torque applied to an aircraft's yoke.
How it works :
- To ensure proper operation of the steering column, a 2-axis force sensor (torque Mz and force Fz) is integrated directly into the steering wheel.
- The measurements are then transferred to a CSG110 serial signal conditioner (PLC link), a digital indicator (IPM650 or IHH500), or to a USB210 data acquisition module.
- Digital indicators or USB210 system are compatible with the FUTEK SENSIT acquisition software for data collection, tracing and analysis. The SENSIT software allows the acquisition and analysis of up to 16 measurement channels simultaneously.
