Torque sensor
Sensel Measurement is specialized in the design and the sale of static and dynamic torque sensors. A torque sensor is a transmitter which convert a mechanical torsion in a electrical signal which is proportional to the applied torque.
A. Static torque meters :
The static torque meters are strain gages sensors frequently used for measuring tightening torques, verify and calibrate screw driving systems and dynamometric torque wrenches, but also for measures in engines test benches. We offer a very large range of static torque sensors from ±0.04 Nm to ±5000Nm with a very high accuracy (1%, 0.25%).
B. Rotating torque meters :
The rotating torque meter is used for dynamic measurements of torques in the two senses of rotation. We offer a large range of torque measurements from ±0 .2 Nm to ±5000 Nm with adapted accuracies (1%,0.2%,0.1%) to your needs and your budget and rotating speed able to reach 20 000 RPM.
We offer strain gages rotating torque meters with contact (TRS300, Output 2mV/V) or brusheless without contact (TRS600, output 0,5 V), thereby without attrition during the transmission of the signal.
We offer also a complete range of low cost rotating torque meters without contact equipped with an electromagnetic transmission .They are to be used carefully (to be protected from electromagnetic field which may come from the motor or from the braking system).
Some models are available with an integrated encoder of 360 points per revolution, to perform a speed or angle measurement.
