Applications
> <The SM-NG360 is a liquid-based 360° capacitive inclinometer. This sensor has integrated electronics and a 16-bit microprocessor. The measurement result is transmitted via an RS485 port for further processing. Up to 78 sensors can be used on a single communication line.
The measuring method provides a linear relationship between the angle to be measured and the output signal. The angle determined is independent of the local gravitational acceleration, which means that no matter where the measurement is performed, whether in Europe or on another continent, the inclination will be measured correctly. Temperature-related inaccuracies are corrected by the integrated microprocessor.
The SM-NG360 inclinometer is suitable for applications requiring the measurement of any angle for further processing on a PC.
Typical application areas are construction, mining, vehicles, aircraft, ships, surveying equipment, and transportation and conveyor systems.
Our inclinometer is supplied with data acquisition software. An RS485 adapter is also available as an option.
