The CMCP 525-530-535 conditioners and CMCP 525A-530A-535A monitoring modules are compatible with all industry-standard IEPE accelerometers. Each conditioner provides constant current power to the associated sensor and processes the signal through a peak or average value detector. A 4-20mA DC output proportional to one of five user selectable ranges can then be sent to the PLC, DCS, SCADA or other plant control system to allow operations and maintenance personnel to view real-time machine status, set alarms and initiate machine shutdowns for scheduled preventive maintenance. A fault detection circuit is provided with the 4-20mA output so that the control system can differentiate between equipment or power failures to avoid false alarms and false readings. The conditioner can be ordered with the optional alarm module using the "A" prefix.  The optional alarm module provides OK, Alert and Danger Alarms functions as well as associated relays, selectable timers and adjustable setpoints for autonomous machine protection in accordance with API 670. An OK time delay hazard elimination circuit is also provided to prevent unintentional movement. Several transmitters and/or monitors can be combined into one to create a cost-effective, multi-channel machine protection system with reliable status.
